Hansen Announces Tahoe as Location of 2004 International
Users Conference
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
SACRAMENTO, CA, January 23, 2004 – Hansen Information Technologies (Hansen®) today announced that its 18th annual international users conference, Network 2004—"Back to Basics," will take place in Tahoe CA, August 29 through September 2, 2004 at the Resort at Squaw Creek.
The annual conference attracts hundreds of Hansen users from across the globe including the United States, Canada, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand and Asia. In 2003 the conference welcomed over 500 attendees from over 95 government organizations. The conference also attracts representation from leading IT businesses that work in the government industry.
The international user group, formally known as Hansen’s Annual International Information Conference (AIIC), has been given a new name to reflect the number one response to attendees’ favorite part of the conference—networking. By giving this year’s conference the theme, "Back to Basics," Hansen hopes to return the conference’s focus completely to the Hansen software user, and the people that manage them. Over the last four years conference locations have included Reno, Sacramento, and Las Vegas. Previous conferences were held at various locations around Lake Tahoe. Customer feedback indicated a strong desire to return to the Tahoe region and focus primarily on Hansen initiatives as opposed to general governmental concerns. Registration fees will include training opportunities, and incentives are being given to customers that are willing to share a case study about using the Hansen product with their Hansen peers—all in the spirit of networking.
"Careful consideration is taken with each customer evaluation we receive after a conference. Hansen users like to network with each other at our conferences and they appreciate the large number of Hansen staff who are available onsite to answer questions and provide training," said Chuck Hansen, President and CEO of Hansen. "We listen to our users and only deliver the best."
Several company announcements affecting the government industry will be revealed at the 2004 conference. The conference is a must-attend event for Hansen users who are serious about ensuring their agency’s effectiveness. To reserve a seat at Hansen’s user group conference, please visit www.hansen.com.
